Strengths-Based Approach
We focus on individual virtues, talents and human ability for fulfilment rather than on weaknesses and deficits. It is a positive perspective that elaborates on, and culminates in, the things one ‘can do’ rather on those that one cannot.
How we will do it
We do this by running creative and compassionate projects which encompass the following:
Training
Training and upskilling (including language) helps break stigmas and remove barriers
Employment
Offer life skills and professional development to build confidence to access employment pathways
Contribution
Offer opportunities to take part in initiatives that “give back” shifts the mindset from survivor to thriver
